Texas In Bloom

Ditch Garden

It seems that we managed to reach Gonzales just in time to catch one of the best blooms they’ve had in a while.

A lot of rain earlier in the season has brought out more flowers than they’ve seen in a number of years.  All the grass and trees are green, and there’s just about every other color of the rainbow being shown by the massive amounts of wildflowers.  I generally don’t take great pictures of flowers (I don’t have the patience), but it’s hard not to take some anyway.

A couple pictures are included with this update, but I recommend you go take a look at the whole set here on Flickr.

Thank you so much for having the patience to take pictures of the blooming wildflowers. I absolutely loved the slide show. So many different varieties and colors. Well, excuse me, I am going to get another cup of coffee and look at your pictures one more time!

Glad you enjoyed it… I wasn’t sure if I should put the show link up or the regular one. I glad I made the right choice. 😉
