Parks and Places

We’re planning on staying in as many parks as possible during our travels.  We much prefer the natural setting over commercial campgrounds, even if it means we have to pay more attention to water and other “resources”.  We’re finding that a lot of campgrounds are available, but they’re not well known or are very hard to find.  We’ll list all the ones that we find here and try to give an impression of what we did or didn’t appreciate about them.  Expect this to be a bit sparse for now, but we’ll be filling it up as we go.

Hey guys. If you ever find yourselves in Arizona, you must go to Picacho Peak State Park. Just off of I-10, between Eloy and Marana. It’s just beautiful. There’s nothing like waking up in the morning and looking out your window at giant Saguaro cacti that tower over your rv! Put this on your list when you get to that area.

    Safe Travels!

Excellent! We’re always looking for recommendations. We’ll definitely add that one to the list… I think we’ll be going right past it anyway, so it’s good to know that we should make it a stop. 🙂
